Quora | Best Internet Marketing and Blogging Forums
I’ve recently learned of a number of internet marketing and blogging forums that I wish I had known about (or were accessible to) when I first started out on my own. In the event that you are unaware of these amazing groups of like-minded individuals working together to enhance their online presence while also sharing their expertise, advice, and strategies, I’d like to share five of them with you today. To help you prepare, I’ve also provided a brief overview of each.
Although most of the tools listed below are still active, the online community landscape has undoubtedly changed significantly since this post was posted in 2009. Check out SPI Pro, our exclusive membership community, if you’re searching for a place where you can interact with and learn from other business owners.
Quora Hub is a website that provides an online exchange of information between people about a particular topic. It provides a venue for questions and answers and may be monitored to keep the content appropriate. Also called a “discussion board” or “discussion group,” an Internet forum is similar to an Internet newsgroup (see below), but uses the Web browser for access. Before the Web, text-only forums were common on bulletin boards and proprietary online services. However, Internet forums include all the extras people expect from the Web, including images, videos, downloads and links, sometimes functioning as a mini-portal on the topic.
Quora Hub is a platform where you are free to ask questions that are important to you and it answers people who have been to your place and done that. It is a place where scientists, entrepreneurs, mechanics, artists, and homemakers take refuge from misinformation and make them share what they know.
There were 2,330 users actively participating in the forum when I just went there to collect that information. That’s crazy! You have a very high chance of receiving a prompt response to any posts you make.
I also value the fact that the forum has a whole area called Mind Warriors—Success, Power, Self-Improvement that is devoted to attitude. This section’s heading is self-explanatory:
All issues pertaining to self-improvement are covered in this forum. Because strength, drive, and creativity translate into the capacity to generate more income, this most definitely belongs in a money-making forum.
Nearly every Warrior Forum member I’ve encountered is quite amiable, and you can tell that they take great satisfaction in being a part of the community. Some of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered online are Adrian from 36pounds.com and Howie, who is actively working on his own ebook project and is quite active on Warrior Forum.
If you’re interested in learning more about affiliate marketing, particularly Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Cost-Per-Action (CPA) Networks, Wicked Fire is one of the leading affiliate marketing forums on the internet.
On Wicked Fire, some of the folks make a tonne of money and are happy to divulge their secrets. This forum may be quite vulgar, and if you don’t know what you’re talking about, people will eat you up and spit you out. That’s the only warning I have for you.
I would read the posts and take in as much valuable information as possible if I were a newbie interested in affiliate marketing, but I wouldn’t start or join in any conversations.
Although I am not a member, I used to read a lot of the posts on Wicked Fire when I was actively using PPC for affiliate marketing.
Self-Starters Weekly Tips
The owner of Click Newz and 12-year internet marketing professional Lynn Terry runs the Self-Starters Weekly Tips Forum (SSWT). This forum is substantially smaller than the others, thus I believe that each post receives a lot more individualised advise and attention. What’s particularly wonderful is that Lynn herself is frequently seen on the boards giving advise. [Note: It looks that the SSWT website is unavailable as of December 2021.
Beginners who might feel intimidated by some of the larger sites would love SSWT. Undoubtedly very appealing, the tight-knit group keeps me returning to see what everyone is up to. Since I enjoy assisting others, I often find that I am giving more advise than I am receiving. However, if you’re searching for more sophisticated counsel, you might want to visit Lynn’s Elite Members Forum or one of the other forums suggested below.
