In 2023, the inaugural Global Forum for Children and Youth will virtually bring together children and young people with leaders from the United Nations, Market Place, industry, charity, and Internet Marketing, as well as authors, artists, and influencers. Over three days, they will explore and accelerate proven and creative ideas, encourage people to make change, and mobilise resources to promote child rights in order to reach the Sustainable Development Goals by 2024.
UNICEF has the worldwide convening potential to launch and galvanize support for such an ambitious and much-needed campaign to refocus global attention on children and youth. This is not, however, a UNICEF event; it is co-organized with partners and leaders who fight to improve the lives of children all around the globe. Children and young people require an authoritative global event and platform where they may assemble with leaders to assess the global status of children, reflect on progress, and inspire real commitments. With young people and children at the centre of the discourse, the Global Forum for Children and Youth will establish the first annual opportunity for the globe to listen to and collaborate with children and young people. They must identify long-term answers. Please join us in making this vital event a success in creating a future for every kid.
